BenchTime is perfect for recording time spent on projects. We use it for tracking time that we spend on work performed for our clients. We've also used for complex projects where more than one person worked on a project. BenchTime is also perfect if you multitask. Just create a new window for each project!

Installation is simple since BenchTime is a simple application. Just copy BenchTime to your hard drive and double click it.

Using BenchTime is just a easy! Click "Start" and BenchTime begins tracking your time. When you are done with your task, click "Stop". Then, at your convienvce, you can type a description and who completed the task. When you are done, click "Save", and the information will be saved in a text file. If you need to work on the project again, launch BenchTime, choose open, and select the saved file.

Saving the information in text files has a huge advantage. Just drag or import the file to Excel or FileMaker Pro and you can share your data with the rest of your office! Please be aware that the first line of the text file contains the title of the file and total time spent on the project.

BenchTime requires Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, or Windows. When you purchase BenchTime, your serial number will work for either platform.

The unregistered version is exactly the same as the full version except that displays an annoying dialog box occassionally. In addition, the unregistered version will count down from ten everytime it is launched.
